Bulwell Partnership Board
This board was formed from the Sure Start advisory board and the Bulwell Extended Services steering group; bringing these two boards together has ensured continuity of the excellent partnership working across a range of organisations in Bulwell.
Family Support Strategy
Bulwell EAZ work in partnership with many organisation and departments on the development of multi-agency working across Bulwell to support young people and their families.
Continued developments around the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) are a focus for Bulwell schools, working together to make the process streamlined and effective for families. To find out more about the Family Support Strategy go to http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/ics/index.aspx?articleid=14713
Working together to Raise Aspiration
During the coming year, six Bulwell primary schools will be taking part in the second phase of the `Raising Aspirations’ project. They will be building on the success of the first phase of the project which took place last year in St Ann’s and Aspley. `Raising Aspirations’ brings school and community partners together to work with year 6 pupils identified as needing extra support to increase their confidence, self-esteem, life experience and aspiration for the future. The partner organisations in Bulwell will include the Bulwell Community Toy Library and Family & Community team based at Bulwell Childrens Centre.
The project will be led by an `Aspiration Development Officer’ in each of the six schools, and co-ordinated by Jane Caro, Aspirations Manager for `Epic Partnership’. We will update you regularly on the project’s progress through the EAZ website, though if you would like more information in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact Jane on 915 1794 or at jane.caro@nottinghamcity.gov.uk.

North Locality Parent Forum (NLPF)
Working with three other EIPs in Nottingham North the FLWs are supporting the creation of a NLPF. A number of parents from Bulwell schools have attended and are actively involved in the development of the Forum. The aim of the Forum is to give parents and carers a voice and will help shape the way services are delivered for children, young people and families in Nottingham.NLPF Report 20 May 10 Final.doc
