Family Liaison Workers (FLWs)
Bulwell EAZ provide funding for a team of Family Liaison Workers across the Bulwell Primary schools. The current team are:-

- Hayley Bodenham and Alex Radford, Springfield Primary School
- Paulina Karminzsky, Rufford Infant School
- Heidi Camm-Woodward, Bulwell St Mary's and Cantrell Primary Schools
- Nicola Slack, Crabtree Farm Primary School
- Carey Birchenough, Bulwell Academy

Currently they work one or two days a week and are involved in a range of services to support parents and families, the EAZ Management group is now in the process of creating an additional post at Bulwell Academy to work alongside this team.
North Locality Parent Forum (NLPF)
Working with three other EIPs in Nottingham North the FLWs are supporting the creation of a NLPF. A number of parents from Bulwell schools attended the first meeting and are actively involved in the development of the Forum. The aim of the Forum is to give parents and carers a voice and will help shape the way services are delivered for children, young people and families in Nottingham.NLPF Report 20 May 10 Final.doc
Parent Training Development Officer
Eileen Mignott works for the Children and Families Service as a Parent Training and Development Officer (North Locality). This involves coordinating, delivering and promoting workshops, as well as providing individually tailored courses for mothers, fathers and carers for the Triple P (Positive Parenting Programmes). Innovation Project
Primary FLWs have just completed work on the Innovation Project. Funding was provided by the TDA for Bulwell and Ellis Guilford FLWs to work together over a number of training and networking opportunities. The funding enabled purchase of a laptop for each FLW and access to a package of training tailored to the needs of each worker.
School Gates Initiative
The FLWs will lead on the School Gates initiative which offers a wide range of support and advice to parents and carers wishing to return to work or start up their own business. The initiative is part of a national scheme introduced by the Child Poverty Unit and includes support from Guideline Careers Services, Job Centre Plus and East Midlands Development Agency.

Home Access Programme
Home Access is a government drive that helps low-income families who currently lack access to a computer and/or internet to get online at home. The programme is aimed at those that need it most by providing a grant to buy a computer and/or a minimum of one years’ internet access.
